Terms and Conditions for Temporary Moorings at Langley’s Staithe
- Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “Terms”) govern the use of temporary moorings at Langley’s Staithe (hereinafter referred to as “Langley’s Staithe”) located in the United Kingdom. By utilizing our mooring facilities, you agree to abide by these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
- Booking and Payment
- Moorings at Langley’s Staithe can be booked and paid for via our website: www.langleystaithe.co.uk.
- Payment for the mooring reservation must be made in full, in advance, prior to the intended arrival date.
- Moorings Pricing
- The initial 24 hours of a mooring reservation is priced at £10.
- For each additional day beyond the first 24 hours, a charge of £5 per day will apply.
- Duration of Moorings
- Temporary moorings at Langley’s Staithe may be reserved for a minimum of 1 day and a maximum of 7 days.
- Booking Confirmation
- After making a successful payment through our website, you will receive a booking confirmation via the email address provided during the reservation process.
- No-Booking Policy
- Moorings without a prior booking are strictly prohibited.
- Unauthorized moorings will be subject to a penalty of £100 per day.
- Legal Implications
- Langley’s Staithe reserves the right to take legal action against individuals or entities found using our moorings without prior booking or for violating these Terms.
- Any expenses incurred as a result of legal action will be the responsibility of the offender.
- Cancellation and Refunds
- Moorings can be canceled, and a refund can be requested up to 48 hours before the reservation start date. A full refund will be provided.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the reservation start date will not be eligible for a refund.
- Liability
- Langley’s Staithe does not accept responsibility for any damage, loss, or theft of property while moored at our facilities.
- All mooring users are encouraged to secure their vessels and personal belongings appropriately.
- Right to Refuse Service
- Langley’s Staithe reserves the right to refuse mooring services to any individual or entity at its discretion.
- Safety Regulations
- All mooring users must adhere to safety regulations and guidelines provided by Langley’s Staithe.
- Changes to Terms
- Langley’s Staithe reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. It is the responsibility of users to review these Terms periodically for updates.
